Memorial Ride for Chris Robertson 11/16/01
This Friday, 11/16 at 6:30PM there will be a memorial ride for Chris Robertson, meeting in San Francisco at South Park between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Organized by the SF Bike Messengers Association.
A year ago this Saturday our friend and comrade Chris Robertson was slain by an impatient truck driver while Chris rode in a funeral procession for his friend Joe Woods. This past Tuesday his killer was given eight months in the county jail and a $500 fine for the crime. Come out and help complete the ride that Chris could not and let all of San Francisco know that the streets still belong to you.
There will also be a memorial on the actual anniversary, 11/17, at Zeitgeist in the Mission district (around 8pm). Fran, Chris' family will be there, and they would love to see all of you.
