Two groups from the Bay Area joined Sacramento Critical Mass on Sept. 7, (one group by bicycle and one by Amtrak) to help protect and defend the efforts of community bicycle riding in the face of unchecked police abuses. After activists did political groundwork to help ensure that police would stop the ongoing abuses, the Sac PD responded by issuing uncounted citations and brutally arresting one woman. Full Story
