400 march for peace in Fresno
0ver 400 march for peace in Fresno, California
Over 400 people participated in A MARCH FOR UNITY today in Fresno, California. The march
started at Wesley United Methodist Church and proceeded to the Fresno
Mosque about a mile away. Arabs, Jews, Christians and Fresno’s progressive community joined together to say no to war and to call attention to racist anti Arab rhetoric following Tuesdays tragedies in New York and Wash. DC.
The march mourned the terrible loss of life that took place,
called for an end to the cycle of violence, and demonstrated that peace is
only possible when there is social and economic justice in the world.
