Haiti's invisible "Big Boss" is keeping Father Jean-Juste in Prison
Port au Prince, Haiti - While the Hollywood press dominates the Haiti news with a fantastic story how Wyclef Jean — the nephew of coup leader Raymond Joseph — "saved Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie from being kidnapped by gangsters," the Gang of 184 has been able to continue the de-facto kidnapping of Rev. Father Gerard Jean-Juste by having their own judge, Jean Péres Paul, fabricate charges to keep the critically ill Lavalas leader in prison by charging him with "possession of illegal weapons."
In contrast, another pro-coup leader — Dany Toussaint — was caught in flagrante delicto with illegal weapons and was promptly let go. Last September HIP journalist, Kevin Pina was called to Father Jean-Juste's church by members when the very same Judge Jean Péres Paul was trying to plant weapons in the rectory with the help of masked PNH gangsters.
Over the weekend Father Jean-Juste met with a delegation and released this letter. In it he points out that beyond the visible powers in Haiti, there's a "Big Boss" who plays behind the scenes and could have him released with one phone call so that he could travel to the USA to get the medical treatment that is not available in Haiti.
The leukemia that he has is treatable, without that treatment staying in prison will be a death sentence on bogus charges. Needless to say, Wyclef Jean has NOT called for the release of Father Jean-Juste.
