Northwest Airlines is trying to bust our union.

If Northwest is successful their tactics will be used against other unions
at other
airlines and in other industries. Management has hired over 1,900 scabs to
do the
strikers' work. Northwest Airlines CEO Doug Steenland has been quoted recently,
"We will never go back to the way it was."

Five thousand Northwest members are affected nationwide. We are calling on
all Bay
Area labor members, activists and leaders to get behind the strikers and
show true
commitment, support and solidarity.

SFO International Airport, Terminal 2 (the old International Terminal)
Rally will begin at 1100 and end at around 1300

HOW TO GET THERE: BART to SFO is the best bet and the least expensive. Get
off at the Airport and proceed to the
free Air Train. Get off at Terminal 2 and proceed to the departure level.
The Rally point is outside in front of the Old
International Terminal, between Terminals 1 and 3.

All Labor Unions regardless of affiliation are asked to attend. If you want
