Livermore Must Tribute Hiroshima
60th Anniversary of the will-full dropping of the first atomic bomb
Listen now:
One of the San Francisco bay area's many gatherings of citizens who mourned the dropping of the first atomic bomb occured, August 6, 2005, on the grounds of William Payne Park. The nearby Lawrence Livermore Laboratory is apparently filled with mad-scientists, who eagerly encourage the government to ply them with billions of dollars and tons of nuclear waste.
A simple man could tell you that siting poison near one's proximity is mighty dim, but Congress is all-out in that strategy. A good crowd turned out this mighty hot day to stand or seek shade from the tiny trees, and listen to words of solace and advice from activists in the field.

Hip Hop duo "Dangerous Minds"
Words from a former employee on cancer clusters and hazards at Livermore
Words of staying power from Sheri Bellville, Livermore activist
Little Oscar sees us out
