LGBT Families at Pride
Join hundreds of LGBT families on Sunday, June 26th showing that word
family is broad and all inclusive.
Bring your family, strollers, bikes, sun block and tennis shoes! Also
feel
free to make signs to demonstrate your pride. Such as "I love my two
daddies", "Only toys belong in the closet" and "My two moms rock".
Everyone needs to meet at Spear Street to assemble between Howard and
Folsom at 10:30 Parking and traffic will be a nightmare. It is
recommended
that you take BART to Embarcadero station and walk one block to the
assembly location. Visit

to get detailed directions on public transportation from your location.
Please be aware that mylar balloons or streamers are forbidden because
of
the MUNI overhead wires. Also nothing may be thrown into the crowd,
even
the smallest items can become a medical situation.
Our Family Coalition T-Shirts
Our Family Coalition is proud to announce the availability of our
"Every
Family Matters" T-shirts! T-shirts will be available the morning of
the
Pride Parade. T-shirts are white with the OFC logo on the front and
"Every
Family Matters" on the back in purple text. T-shirts range in size
from
infant 12 months to adult 2x. To recoup our printing costs OFC is
charging
$10 for each shirt. A special thanks to OFC member Marla Kaye owner of
You
Name It Productions for her generous discount so we can pass the
savings on
to our members.
Family Garden
OFC and COLAGE are especially proud to announce the "2nd Annual Family
Garden" which will be located at the south playground at the corner of
Larkin and Grove streets. Last year the playground was overflowing
with
families. The Family Garden will feature art activities, face painting
and
a playground. Parents can meet other LGBT parents, rest while the
children
play and receive information about OFC and COLAGE at our booth that
will be
located in the Family Garden. But to make the Family Garden as
successful
as last year, we NEED YOUR HELP!
Location: South playground at the corner of Larkin and Grove Streets in
SF.
