Several hundred people went out in the streets of San Francisco to celebrate death row-imprisoned journalist Mumia Abu-Jamal's 50th birthday. Happy birthday, Mumia!
There were speakers at 16th and Mission. Shortly after 3:00, the crowd poured into the street and marched down Mission Street. More speakers and one spoken word group entertained a growing crowd at 24th and Mission.
