Hundreds Rally to Defend the Oakland 25
25 people arrested on April 7, 2003 continue to face charges of “disrupting a business” and “creating a public nuisance” for daring to protest the shipment of war materials out of the Port of Oakland. Hundreds of union members, anti-war activists, and others rallied today in front of the Alameda Courthouse in Oakland today prior to the last scheduled pre-trail hearing.
