Activists block truck carrying Italian cargo from leaving the Port of Oakland.
The driver ate a pear given to him by a Food Not Bombs activist, and talked with a few people about issues surrounding the picket. He ended up turning around, unloading his cargo, and leaving without a load.

---
The Port of Oakland action was undertaken by local activists to protest the violent and inhumane treatment of protesters during the recent anti-G8 protests in Genoa Italy.
---
Next local action:

ART IS NOT A CRIME
A Performance marathon to
DROP THE CHARGES AGAINST THE PUBLIX THEATRE CARAVAN
& RELEASE ALL GENOA/G8 ACTIVISTS FROM ITALIAN JAILS
Thurs. Aug. 23rd, 4pm - Midnight

If I were driving that NAFTA approved truck I would have run over that fucking cripple. Man, I hate cripples at my protests. They get in the way, speed on the sidewalk and they smell like a colostomy bag. Ever notice that about crips?
Run them over
