Excavate the landfill ... and then let’s talk!
“The Navy has yet to put forward a formal plan for cleaning up or removing the landfill. Navy officials have said they are considering creating a permanent cap and leaving the landfill in place. Any plan would require EPA approval, which is not likely in the immediate future. The EPA has not taken a position on the landfill,” says Michael Work, one of the project mangers for the Hunters Point Shipyard Superfund cleanup....

Mayor Gavin Newsom and Susan Leal who is the General Manager of SFPUC defy the community and want to place 3 dangerous, toxic spewing Combustion Turbines (CT) in the Bayview. These CT will spew PM-2.5 very tiny and very dangerous to the health of thousands that work and live in the area around Pier 80. The land is land fill and prone to liquefaction but all this does not disturb Mayor Gavin Newsom....

Hunters Point Naval Shipyard a toxic dump with radiological elements
Lennar Bayview Hunters Point LLC is out to build over 1600 housing units in and around a toxic dump laden with radiological elements. Lennar BVHP LLC does not want to address the cumulative pollution. Folks like Nicole Franklin have no clue trying to convince innocent folks to opt and buy homes that will slowly kill them in the short and long run. Mayor Gavin Newsom sees nothing wrong building over 1600 homes in the middle of Chernobyl....

Mayor Gavin Newsom does not have answers when given the data it can be proved that Quality of Life Issues in the last 3 years is at its worst in San Francisco. Poor people are suffering and dying from lack of health care and compassion. Our youth are suffering and the youth have NO respect for Mayor Gavin Newsom. Our infrastructure is in bad shape with millions of gallons of sewer leaching into our watershed. Mayor Gavin Newsom is about Spin and Media hype....
