On Friday Sept 19th, Berkeley Bowl fired produce worker Arturo Perez. Arturo had worked as Berkeley Bowl for close to two years, and had been a very active and vocal leader in the unionization effort. Perez is the second worker that Berkeley Bowl has fired for Union organizing. On Sept 21st at 5PM dozens of Berkeley Bowl workers staged a 15 min walkout in protest. Union busting can not be allowed in a progressive city like Berkeley....
