What happens in Syria this week will determine how much longer the war there will continue. It's a sad and tragic situation, but of course the dark forces will always seek to drag it out and/or make it worse. The Syrian government has offered rebels safe passage and rehabilitation in the past. The international Jihadis should be offered safe passage out of the country, preferably to one of the countries who are sponsoring or supporting them.
