Sensible Cinema will screen the film Union Time:Fighting For
Worker's Right by director /producer Matthew Barr and
narrated by Danny Glover the film is a class example of what
patience,endurance and struggle can produce.The film
follows the story of the workers at the Smithfield Pork
Processing Plant in Tar Heel North Carolina sixteen year
fight for a union.

After the screening Dr. Steve Pitts Assistant Chair of
the UCB Labor Research Center will speak .
