It's official: Racism, Bigotry and Hate are alive and well in Santa Cruz.

In the early morning hours, the Guadalupe mural was vandalized and destroyed at Beach Flats Park. With this act of vandalism you have complete erasure of Latino culture in a public space.

Also, under the guise of "neighborhood improvement", the sign at Beach Flats Park was also damaged; the word "Flats" was painted over.

Beach Flats Park is not modern and some people thinks it sucks...that's because they do not see clearly, and they don't use it the way lots of kids in this neighborhood do.

You know who you are and we know why you did it. Don't hide behind diversity and neighborhood improvement.

City of Santa Cruz and parks and recreation with this act of vandalism of complete the breast leakage of Latin culture in public space in the city.


Es oficial: el racismo, intolerancia y odio estan vivo y coleando en Santa Cruz.

Esta madrugada, el meal de la Guadalupe en el Parque Beach Flats fue destruida. Con esta acto de vandalismo tenemos pie completo el borramiento de cultura Latina en un espacio publico en la ciudad de Santa Cruz.

Adicionalmenta, banjo el disfraz de "mejoramiento de vecindad" el rotulo con el nombre del parque tambien fue pintado. La palabra "Flats" fue eliminada.

El Parque Beach Beach Flats Park no es moderno y algunos piensan que no es bueno...pero eso esto prque no veen claramente, y no us an el Parque com lo usan los ninos en la playa.

Ustedes saben por que lo hicieron y queen es responsable. No de escondan bajo la palabra diversidad y mejoramiento de vecindad.
