The International Discussion Group held a meeting on the Lessons of the Iranian Revolution and the Working class. Speakers were Ralph Schonenman, a author and journalist who was in Iran for 8 months during this time and Kambis Sakhai who was a participant in the Iranian revolution in the left.
During the revolution large number of workers set up shores or workers councils and took over the running of their plants and industries.
