East Bay Global Frackdown

Date:
Saturday, October 11, 2014
Time:
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
Mac Farrell
Location Details:
East Shore Park, Lake Merritt, Oakland CA

On October 11, people all over the world will be calling for an end to fracking and the dangers it poses to our environment, health, and communities.
Here in Oakland, we'll be having a day of action at Lake Merritt, where our community can come together to learn about fracking and our campaigns to ban it in California. We'll be sending messages to Jerry Brown, telling him that you can't be a climate leader if you support fracking. There will be music, food, and an art station where you can make your own anti-fracking t-shirt! Join us at Eastshore Park for an afternoon of fun and action!
