Cops train to kill: Salinas police Chief says, "We do not train to shoot people in the leg"
A reporter asked Chief of Salinas police why the officers didn't just shoot Mejia (Salinas Man Shot by Salinas Murdering Police) in the leg to stop him.
"When we apply force, the force is designed to eliminate a threat. There is no guarantee that a single bullet is going to do that. We do not train to shoot people in the leg. Police are trained to shoot until that threat is eliminated,"

What about due process, and since when did cops become the Judge, remember your a chief of police not a judge.
Now you know how police train to kill the threat not just stop it now. Why is the supreme court allowing this type of mentality in police academies, and not doing anything about it?
No where in this video do you see the man being arrested lunge at police, like what the chief of police was saying. Chief McMillin say's "officers repeatedly tried to get Mejia to drop the shears, and said they were fearful he would enter a nearby bakery and hurt someone there. Because the incident took place about noon, there were also many pedestrians potentially in harm's way, he said." So using deadly force by shooting him protects civilians by police, and in broad day light in front of kids? Now both officers have been placed on paid administrative leave while the incident is investigated? WTF they get vacation for murdering someone point blank.
Police said they opened fire seconds after the man turned around to face them and lunged toward officers with the shears. I do not see him lunge at them, and instead we see the Murdering officers shoot at point blank..?
