Defend The Children And People Of Fukushima-Don't Restart The Nuke Plants

Every 11th of the month on the anniversary of the Fukushima nuclear plant meltdown, people speak to demand that the children and people of Fukushima, Japan be evacuated. The Japanese government continues to proposed to restart the 50 nuclear plants in Japan and also is exporting nuclear plants and technology around the world.
We will be calling on the government to stop the restart of any nuclear plants, the protection of nuclear workers and an end to the subcontracting of them out at these plants. The government now owns and controls TEPCO and should take responsibility for these workers who are being seriously contaminated trying to stop the continuing leakage from the plant.
We also oppose the governments efforts to tell the Japanese people that they can "overcome" radiation and that Fukushima can be "decontaminated". This propaganda is also supported by the US government. There is a growing epidemic of thyroid cancers in children and other people in the area.
We aso oppose the recently passed "secrecy law" legislation that will allow for the suppression of information about Fukushima or even trying to find out about the nuclear dangers. Also anti-nuclear activists have been jailed for passing out literature against the burying of nuclear rubble in Osaka
