The Second Saturday Documentary Series presents “Chasing Ice” on October 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Niles Discovery Church, 255 H St., Fremont. The screening will be followed by a discussion led by Jeff Spencer, a local pastor and climate activist. With stunning photography and creative use of state-of-the-art time-lapse cameras, “Chasing Ice” exposes the evidence that our planet’s climates are changing. The screening is free, though donations are accepted.
