Evolution of Style explores the shifting sensibilities and forces that have influenced pivotal

points in the participating artists’ careers. Many factors influence the creative process; age,

teachers, other artists, life experiences and so much more.

Each artist in the exhibit selected work that represents a change of style in perception or

direction, accompanied by statements of their experiences.

Curated by Jerrold Turner, this exhibition features the work of eleven California artists over the

course of their careers. Artists include: Chester Arnold, Nikki Basch-Davis, Peter Brown, Linda

Christianson, John Goodman, Dennis Hare, Ray Jackson, Connie Kirk, Judy Molyneux, William

Rushton, and Terry St. John.

The exhibition will be on view from October 17 to November 17 at the Arts Benicia Gallery,

located at 991 Tyler St., Benicia, CA 94510. Gallery hours during exhibitions are Thursday
