The theme for this year’s Festival is PODER Popular and looks at the power of the people and the art that they create when they gather, not in conservatories, but in living rooms and in the streets. The secular dances are fundamental to the daily survival of many cultures, traditions and artists themselves. Dance and music serves as a vital form of expression and as a release from daily problems, worries, and hard ships.
