California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Ballot Initiative

Signature gathering for the California Ballot Initiative is currently underway!!! We have begun in February and will be finishing in mid April, so there's no time to lose if you want to help us get this initiative on the ballot!

Those who want to volunteer to gather signatures need to first be trained either on the job (please contact us to make arrangements) or meet for an important hour-long training workshop where you will learn everything you need to know about the campaign and about our tag-team signature gathering method. Bring your questions! Even if you have collected signatures before, we have specific, important information to share with you.

To make this training easier to attend, this location is more friendly to public transportation as it is close to the intersection of San Antonio and El Camino Real. Parking is also available in their private lot. Since this is a pilates studio (what better place to get active), there are limited chairs, so bring a chair or sit on one of the available yoga balls if you like, and kindly remove your shoes as you enter.

We are having fewer trainings during this period as we are focusing most of our efforts on actual signature gathering. But that doesn't mean we don't need your help! If you want to help out this all important cause, please do your best to make it out to this training. If you can't, we also are happy to make plans with you individually to go out with an experienced signature gatherer.

We've had a great turnout so far for our trainings but we could always use many more!
