While filming a police line at Occupy Oakland after midnight on Nov. 3 following the Nov. 2 general strike, an officer opens fire and shoots me with a rubber bullet. I was standing well back. There was no violence or confrontations of any kind underway. At 0:31 seconds you can see a tall officer in the front raise his weapon and then fire. This is the full clip of the incident. Not sure what the quality will be upon upload. The video can also be seen on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0pX9LeE-g8

* Scott was shot with what police euphemistically call a "bean bag round", which is a fabric bag full of lead shot fired from a shotgun.

Occupy Oakland: Scott Campbell describes being shot with a rubber bullet by Oakland police in an unprovoked attack:
If this incident occurred as this film depicts, it was obviously action without merit, unsupportable under US law, and subject to legal and social response.

I am trying to encourage young people everywhere to understand the incredible power of social media and what it can accomplish if used properly. To communicate, educate, organize, and exert control over the public's quality of life in the future.

I beleive without reservation that this is THE moment. NOW....is THE time...to open your eyes wide and recognize your MIGHT, your innate abilities as a GROUP, and do not back down or lose momentum. I cannot recall another time in history with such a clear confluence of technological capability in the hands of average Americans, and, an URGENT need to act on social and political matters. THIS IS IT. YOUR JOB IS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AND SECURE YOUR FUTURES BY CUTTING THE PATH NOW.
According to Boston Herald, Victor Garcia, Two time shooter for OPD has been taken off SWAT pending an investigation into the shooting of Scott Campbell on Nov 2nd
