The California Teachers' Association has called May 9-13 a Week of Action for Education and Vital Public Services. All week there are actions in the Bay Area and Sacramento to let legislators know that we will not pay for their crisis. California has enough money for quality public education and public services. We stand for a no-cuts budget. The solution is simple. Tax the rich and tax corporations!

On Thursday please join us for a panel discussion featuring:

Jack Gerson, Oakland Education Association
Debbie Weintraub, Peralta Federation of Teachers
Larisa Mann, Academic Workers for a Democratic Union, United Auto Workers Local 2865
Alan Miller, Berkeley Federation of Teachers
Kristyn Jones, United Teachers of Richmond
