Afghans for Peace releases video on Global Day of Listening to Afghans

Afghans for Peace (AFP) is an alliance of Afghans from various ethnic, religious, socio-economic, cultural, and political backgrounds with a united vision for a democratic, all inclusive, just and peaceful Afghanistan. In order to actualize this vision, we demand an end to U.S. and NATO military operations within Afghanistan. AFP consists of students, professionals, community leaders, and socio-politically aware activists.

Inspired by the Afghan Youth Peace Volunteers and Afghans for Peace, the Global Day of Listening to Afghans on Sunday, December 19th, 2010, allowed people from all over the world to listen to the stories told by the Afghan People of what it is like to live now in Afghanistan. Afghan youth gathered in Kabul and Bamiyan to speak with the world during this 24 hour period.
