STOP THE SAN RAFAEL TARGET:
The San Rafael City Council's final decision on the proposed 137,000 square foot Target Store is scheduled for Monday December 20th at 8:00pm at the San Rafael City Hall located at 1400 Fifth Ave @ D Street San Rafael, CA.
The driving considerations for the City is sales tax, purported to be approximately $675,000 annually, from over $54 million in sales. Their sales will come partially at your expense. Also say no for environmental reasons and because it would damage the rebuilding of our economic. Please come out and join Keep it Local San Rafael, PD-Marin, Sustainable San Rafael, and many others to say NO TO TARGET. Please call/contact the San Rafael City Council members before the meeting and tell them their decision will have negative effects regionally not just in San Rafael. San Rafael City Council has a progressive majority, but we cannot take it for granted that they will do the right thing.
They need to hear from us.
