Gary Johnson, in jail since Friday night for "lodging" at Peace Camp 2010 is expected to appear before a judge sometime Wednesday. California Penal Code 825 (a)(1) requuires the County to do so or face a charge of false imprisonment.
Gary was arrested and remains in jail because he refuses to sign his notice to appear. He is believed to also be on a hunger strike in protest over a law that criminalizes sleep for the poor.
