JOIN IDA FOR WORLD WEEK FOR ANIMALS IN LABORATORIES

We need YOU to make this year’s World Week for Animals in Laboratories (WWAIL), April 17 - 24, the most effective year yet in speaking out against the use of animals in testing and research. Please join us for two educational leafleting on the very campuses that imprison helpless animals in barren cages and torture them in the name of science.

Educational Leafleting and Protest for Lab Animals (two to choose from!)

Monday, April 19th
11 – 1 pm
Berkeley Campus Sproul Plaza

Tuesday, April 20th
11 – 1 pm
UC San Francisco
513 Parnassus SF, CA.

Flyers and signs provided. If you would like to personalize your message and make a poster, please do! For more information, please contact Hope, hope [at] idausa.org or 415-448-0058.

This year’s WWAIL focuses on IDA’s “Top 10 List of Ridiculous Research” exposing ridiculous and wasteful experiments funded by your tax dollars. This list consists of studies that would be laughable if they weren't so tragic.

The Top 10 List showed that even experiments that were the “cream of the scientific crop” - funded by the National Institute of Heath (NIH), approved by federally-mandated oversight committees, and published in peer-reviewed journals - added nothing to medical progress and told us nothing we didn't know already. The entire list is available here: http://idausa.org/ridiculousresearch/
