KTVU Channel 2 reported that the unnamed Brother (who either fell or was shoved by the police 25 feet ) was in critical condition and was ''fading in and out of consciousness ''
Hopefully that's not accurate but has anyone received any more recent up dates ?

Weird how the cops moved into positions that forced protesters towards (as opposed to away from) freeway ramp. Note whole line of cop cars lined up on 10th ave. then just as protesters approach 10th on MLK they move into position blocking them from turning left away from freeway or straight away from freeway - forcing them to turn right towards the freeway ramp. they could have easily done the opposite and forced them to turn away from the freeway either left or straight. I'm sure they knew where the protesters were headed. All the riot cops were in force on 12th ave. parallel to the protesters moving towards the freeway also. Upon reaching Castro street, a line of motorcycle cops moved into position to the left.

Did they wan't to have the protesters up on the freeway when they made their move on them?

After the rally against cuts to education in front of Oakland City Hall a group of about 200 demonstrators march up an off ramp of the 880 and onto the freeway blocking traffic.

I apologize for the quality of the video. I had to keep moving and if I had gotten any closer I would have been arrested. A policewoman hit me with a club (knocking the battery off of my camera) and then after the cop with the bullhorn told his minions to arrest me I ran and jumped a fence.
