This Saturday we will be starting the next phase of our Campaign to Save the Coastal Post.
Don Deane, editor and publisher of the Coastal Post will attend and speak about the paper.
The initial phase of the campaign has been generally successful in helping the paper to survive.
Now, we intend to help the Post become sustainable and to thrive.
Essentially, we will be planning various ways that our community of activists and readers can support the Post.
If YOU have a bright idea or some energy to contribute, please come and be part of the campaign...
Topics we will definitely consider:
* mass appeal for subscriptions and support via mass emails
* website changes
* public outreach ideas
Other possible topics
* linking with Peter Phillips of Project Censored
* doing an event to raise funds and public awareness
* new distribution locations
