Hungry Planet: What the World Eats explores the intersection between food and politics and shows that diet and health are not only influenced by culture, but also by globalization, poverty, and conflict. Photojournalist Peter Menzel and award-winning, television producer Faith D’Aluisio joined 30 families in 24 countries to capture humankind’s eating habits. Their photos are a commentary on the reasons for the similarities and differences. Join the photojournalists for an opening reception of their photo exhibit being displayed from August 28-November 6, 2008 featuring their culinary-focused photographs from around the globe.
