The University of California, Berkeley has changed its stance on removing tree sitters and will now remove those who do not put up a fight.
A university spokesman said arborists won't put anyone in danger, but they will remove tree sitters with a cherry picker and a crane.
One man was removed about 5:15 p.m. and arrested for trespassing, said university spokesman Dan Mogulof.
