Long Animal Shelter SPCA LA

by John Smith
Illegal activity and corruption at Long Beach Animal Shelter
Hello,
You might be surprised when you do some research into SPCA LA/Long Beach Animal Shelter in Long Beach, California. 562-570-pets. There are 2 different organizations in the same building. Long Beach Animal Control is having problems. Not enough people to care for the animals (neglect). Inadequate shelter/housing for LBAC animals. Animals are denied medical care. No Shelter Veterinarian for LBAC I think. I never see anybody. Inhumane issues. I am sure someone will find illegal activity if the right person does some digging. SPCA is aware of problems and does not help or report it to change stuff. SPCA animals are well taken care of and get what they need. They just sit back and watch the neglect. Please forward this to anyone and everyone who might do some detective work or even a possible media investigation.

How come nothing has been done? My shelter has to have a Veterinarian. Its the law. Who looks at all those animals and gives them medical care. Do they just sit there and rot until they are euthanized? I feel sorry for those animals. Animals need shelters to keep them healthy and safe. These animals are probably put into worse situations than they came from. I have plenty of friends that would love to have a job with animals. How can they apply? I wounder if the shelter hiring people do not have the fund to pay employees. I know volunteers would come in and help. Maybe they should start a volunteer program. Abuse and neglect. That is horrible! I think the SPCA should be ashamed of themselves. How can they not see these things? I have been to this shelter. It is beautiful. The poor dogs on the shelter side were really dirty and some were shivering. I couldn't even get in to see the cats. They had the door locked. What kind of animal shelter locks animals up behind closed doors. Shame on you Long Beach Shelter for Animals!!! SPCA should turn you in. Please someone email me and give me information so I can apply to there and help.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
