McCain's Security Platform Will Backfire.
Black D.C. Army National Guard veteran gives
lowdown on Republican White House contender,
who has contributed to world troubles.
lowdown on Republican White House contender,
who has contributed to world troubles.
Reporting from Washington.
While this news brief falls under the main topic of
anti-war, that does not mean it is against defense for
the nation. A country is entitled to protect itself from
outside and internal agression. Outside of that, you
can get my drift. Now that former New York Mayor
Rudolph Giuliani has dropped out of the Republican
bid for the White House, endorsing Arizona U.S.
Senator John McCain, that leaves the lawmaker,
as well as former Arkansas Governor Michael
Hukabee and Congressman Ron Paul in the mix.
The reason why Romney lossed in Florida was due
to arrogance on his part. Voters are going with
candidates that do not ignor issues, and the last
time I checked---after dropping a note off to
Romney's campaign---to urge U.S. IMC Affiliates
to endorse him, I got not a word from his
campaign. There was no problem with him
personally responding, the former Governor is
probably a busy man. But not a soul on his
campaign committee sent a word of appreciation
for the potential endorsement, nor a suggesstion.
So instead, I have supported the Democratic
contender, John Edwards, who, to my
disappointment, dropped out of the race. On the
other hand, Iam not going with John McCain
either. This is a man who is running on security
for the nation platform. In a brief D.C.
statement, he says that he "will protect the United
States from all enemies". Yet, at this very
moment, including previous years, America's
image has grown bad over the years. Foreigners
have no problem with U.S. citizens in general,
it is officials at the top in government, with no
exception to the private sector. Nothing meaningful
in society will exist without basic rules, and it is
the cries of freedom from America that has
caused chaos in the world. Washington Post Express
newpaper, February 1st, 2008, posted a front
page story, "U.S. Seen As at Risk If Struck",
quoting Air Force General Gene Renuart of the U.S.
Northern Command that, 'the Pentagon is putting
together a specialized military team that would
be designed to respond to such catastrophic
events'. Here again, there is stealing funds from
the taxpayer, when America in 2001 instituted an
Office of Homeland Security, upgraded to the
Department of Homeland Security in responce
to the attacks of September 11th, 2001.
As a former D.C. Special Police Officer with over
five years in industrial and residential security,
and soldier of the D.C. Army National Guard, I
can tell you now that the only way to secure a
nation is for administrators not to contribute to it.
The United States has already large law
enforcement personnel throughout the country,
and that likewise means a military with additional
elite units: Special Forces, Rangers, Air Borne,
Air Assault, Marine Corps Recon and the touhest
of the bunch---the Navy Seals. The Air Force and
Coast Guard even have their own.
John McCain is a former Navy captain. But even
in this race for the White House, he is going to
have to come ashore. He voted for the war in
Irag, and now he is urging the nation to do the
same with---Iran. However, the last thing
America needs is more enemies in the world.
Rivals of the Independent Media Center have
hyped up campaign ' 08, saying "McCain Surges
In New Poll', where it disclosed January 14th
that he 'leads in national survey'. Going back
in time---1948, where every newspaper and
critic believed that New York Governor Thomas
Dewey would beat President Harry Truman.
Flash to the present. Michael Huckabee has
more appeal than a McCain, Romney, or Paul.
He is not part of the establishment. To get through
this Huckabee has to get off this thing about
miracles, Wash. Express 1/31/08 and fight ! Being
a Baptist minister, no prophet in the Bible was a
punk.
