Gather on the sidewalk area in front of the Sacramento Zoo (3930 W Land Park Dr, Sacramento, 95822) at 3:00 pm and then march approximately 5 blocks to Congresswoman Matsui's home.

Hello everyone,

Please join us this Saturday, May 5th, as we march to Congresswoman Doris Matsui's home to demand that she make no more concessions to the Iraq war spending bill. The timing for this is very important because some Democrats are actually talking about softening up an already soft bill!

Please march with us as we take the following messages, and others, to Congresswoman Matsui:

NO CONCESSIONS: NO NEW BILL!
STOP THE FUNDING!
U.S. OUT OF IRAQ NOW!
STOP CAVING!
GROW A SPINE!
IMPEACHMENT ON THE TABLE NOW!

The plan is to gather on the sidewalk area in front of the Sacramento Zoo in Land Park at 3:00 pm and then march approximately 5 blocks to Congresswoman Matsui's home.

Once we arrive in front of Matsui's home (at about 3:30), we'll remain in the pedestrian zones for about one hour as we convey our political messages. As always, our activities will be lawful but spirited.

We don't know if Doris will be there, but that doesn't matter: she'll hear about it. If we have a big group out there, our messages will be heard by the right people!

Again, we'll gather in front of the zoo at 3:00 pm with our signs and banners, etc. Then we'll march 5 blocks to Matsui's home, where we'll remain for an hour with our messages. Then we'll do a return march to the zoo and disperse. Total time is about 2 hours. Please join us, because the timing is very important.

Notes: The weather forecast for Saturday is for highs in the upper 70's, so that's ideal. There's plenty of free parking near the zoo.
