Step It Up 2007 - Protect Our Global Climate on 4/14!

Join Thousands of People Across the U.S. to Demand Climate Action

With daily evidence mounting that our fossil fueled way of life is threatening our global climate, the time is now for meaningful action to cut harmful carbon emissions. Here's something you can do. Come to Step It Up, the national day of climate action on April 14.

Activists will be holding hundreds of rallies across the country -- including several hosted throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. At every gathering, everywhere, we'll be saying the same thing: "Step it up, Congress! Enact cuts in carbon emissions now."

As part of “Step It Up 2007” join us for
A Town Hall Meeting with Assemblywoman Loni Hancock on Solutions to the Global Warming Crisis

Global warming poses a serious threat to the sustainability of the environment. Now is the time to take action to ensure a brighter and cleaner future. What can you do to be a part of the solution? Come learn about state and local efforts to improve the health of the planet.

Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation. Located one block from the Downtown Berkeley BART station, as well as many bus route stops. Parking is also available in nearby public garages.
