ROOT DIVISION PRESENTS “TASTE 2007: ARTIST PREVIEW RECEPTION”

San Francisco - On April 14, Root Division will hold an opening reception for TASTE 2007, an exhibition of artwork that appeals to the senses. Featuring 17 Bay Area artists, this show celebrates opulence and indulgence in a visual feast of painting, sculpture, video, sound, and installation art. Pieces to experience include a sculpture of SF made in Jello (Liz Hickok) and a sub-wolfer-turned-bench covered in white fur that vibrates with a low-frequency, David Lynchian sound piece (Ryan Hackett). These pieces, a lot of luscious paintings, and more will be served up in the exhibition. Stop by for a taste of what’s happening in the Bay Area…

ABOUT ROOT DIVISION: Root Division is an arts and arts education non-profit located in the Mission District of San Francisco. Root Division acts as an ecosystem for artists in that we provide subsidized studio space to working artists in exchange for their service in the organization.
