Downtown San Jose Jeppesen International Trip Planning Action

Action taken to advertise the business of Jeppesen International Trip Planning, a subsidiary of Boeing. This business being the outsourcing of torture to the extent that Jeppesen acts as the CIA's travel agency.

a few of us from act against torture (http://www.actagainsttorture.org/), south bay mobilization (http://southbaymobilization.org/), amnesty international (bono was not there), anarchists, socialists and many others took to the streets of san jose, california

donning orange jumpsuits and hoods, we walked along santa clara street in downtown san jose to the corner of almaden bl where jeppesen international trip planning sits perched atop the building at 225 west santa clara

according to electricians working in the offices of jeppesen, the firm occupies the top two floors (15th and 16th)

act against torture brought a cage (see photo) and the hoods (see photo) and the jumpsuits (see photo)

we distributed about 600 pieces of literature including the recent new yorker article by jane mayer (http://www.newyorker.com/talk/content/articles/061030ta_talk_mayer)
