The RTC Convergence center is open, up, and running! We'd love to see you here - and we'd love your help and assistance in making the center even better. Here's how you can help / plug-in.

(1) The RTC website < http://www.reclaimthecommons.net/ > and Indybay have all the details on the great dances, street celebrations, teach-ins, and other RTC events. We'd love to see you!

(2) The Convergence center (960 Howard) is alive, well, and growing! Here's a partial list of loans and/or donations which will help us grow even faster:

- futons, couches, folding chairs, tables, benches

- carpet (used or new) and area rugs

- lamps, floor lights (compact florescent best, incandescent OK - halogens are not safe)

- big swaths of fabric for space dividers, wall covers (and long lengths of dowels or firm to hang the fabric off)

- basic tools (hammers, screwdrivers, staple guns, and the like

- basic office supplies

(3) Volunteers:

- help with welcoming, security, other convergence space tasks

- help with different working groups

- anyone with a truck who can ferry stuff to/from various points.
